Distant Design was born on 18th February 2004 created and founded by Gemma Martin, dedicated mother of three, enthusiastic website designer and website manager, with a passion for anything that manages to combines technology with art.
It was initially opened to provide a portion of the gaming community with a means to share custom creations for simulation PC games with the rest of the gaming world. Some very talented 3D artists and graphic designers came to me requesting web sites to showcase their talents to the world.
There seemed to be a gap in the market for reasonably priced website design that still delivers a creative and artistic finish. Its not just writing in complex codes. Its about creating a piece of fully functioning art to represent my client as an individual to set them apart from the rest of the website world.
After the move to the new sole address www.distantdesign.co.uk along with a little advertisement in local areas, express interest has been made by many different type of companies and individuals alike.
